Our biennial AFT TEACH (Together Educating America’s Children) conference will be held July 11-13, in Washington, D.C.
This unique professional learning conference will celebrate, inspire and support educators in the work that lies ahead. From listening to our members around the country, we know that educators want in-depth, hands-on experiences that provide them with concrete strategies, tools and materials they can use in the classroom to meet students’ needs.
At TEACH 2019, attendees can participate in a variety of sessions that will address topics facing the profession, students, schools and communities and will provide them with tools, resources and strategies to use back home.
The deadline to submit session proposals has passed. If selected, presenters will receive complimentary registration to the conference. AFT members submitting proposals to present at TEACH should have their proposal approved by their local union president. If a member’s proposal is accepted, or if any of the presenters are members, we will require approval from their local union president for them to present at TEACH 2019.As we add speakers and events, and have other news to share, we will be sending email updates. If you would like to receive notifications, join the AFT TEACH 2019 mailing list (link is external).
