Jewish AFT members are and have always been an essential part of the AFT’s membership and leadership. The work of Jewish leaders and activists sustains our communities and strengthens democracy. Especially in this time of rising antisemitism, Jewish American Heritage Month is a crucial time to honor this history and legacy and highlight current struggles and victories.
