Reclaiming Our Future: An invitation to AFT’s April 2022 Leader Meetings

The pandemic has reminded us how important our work truly is, and how vital our collective voice remains, both at work and in our democracy. It has made it even clearer that our members must be respected and supported, especially now, as their work is harder than ever, with increased stress, staff shortages, and political interference and attacks. In the aftermath of the pandemic and its ensuing disruptions, and as we head into a midterm election, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Given these realities, this April, we are having three national regional meetings of leaders to discuss the issues that confront us and plan the path forward. Conducted in three major cities, these meetings will unite members and encourage important conversations to frame our vision of the future.
