The students seem to have a great deal of difficulty meeting with their advisors. Some advisors set 1 hour a week for advising, some set no hours, some only want e-mail contact from their advisees. Most of our newer faculty do not seem to accept that part of their job is advising students in their programs.
Normajean Niebur, University Professionals of Illinois

Jennifer Morley, Hillsboro Classroom Teachers Association, FL
