Many buildings are going "green." What new products or practices would make your school more environmentally friendly?

In this institution of learning all students, staff and faculty need to become more aware of the importance of being environmentally friendly. The facilities can not do this alone we need everyone's help.

My school uses styrofoam plates and plastic untencils for breakfast and lunch. Whatever happened to the cafeteria staff using a dishwasher. It sure would save on landfills, because styrofoam plates do not dissolve.
