Education International
As the largest global teacher organization in the world, Education International (EI) represents more than 29 million education workers from all education sectors, from pre-school to university. EI has 345 member organizations in 165 countries. EI’s programs seek to promote professional and industrial rights of teachers and education personnel; support democracy and social justice through the development of quality public education for all; develop participatory and leadership roles for women in education and society; and safeguard the human rights of indigenous peoples, ethnic minorities, migrants and children.
Public Services International
Public Services International (PSI) is a global union federation of more than 600 trade unions, representing more than 20 million workers in 160 countries. PSI and its affiliates are committed to building quality public services that meet the needs of workers and communities. PSI’s priorities include global campaigns for water, energy and health services. PSI also promotes gender equality, worker rights, building trade union capacity, equity and diversity.
The AFL-CIO and the AFL-CIO's American Center for International Labor Solidarity
The Solidarity Center assists workers around the world to build democratic and independent trade unions and to meet the challenges of a new global economy. The Solidarity Center cooperates with unions and community groups to help workers stand up for their rights and improve their local working and living conditions. Solidarity Center programs also promote democracy, freedom and the respect for workers' rights in global trade, investment and development.
