Adopt-a-Classroom
An interactive program where teachers register their classrooms for adoption by donors. Once adopted, teachers are able to purchase supplies for their students, as well as have their students interact with their donor through letters, art work and e-mails.
Classroom Wish List
Teachers and schools create wish lists of items needed for classrooms. Parents and benefactors can make donations from which supplies are ordered and shipped directly to the teachers that requested them.
Donors Choose
(Currently only serving the Alabama, Chicago, Indiana, Los Angeles, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Texas areas)
At this Web site, teachers submit "project proposals for materials or experiences their students need to learn." Once submitted, Donors Choose works to directly connect donors to beneficiaries so that their projects can be funded.
The I AM Foundation
Offers free books to teachers for their classrooms through an online database. Teachers only have to cover the cost of shipping or can apply on the Web site to be covered by a donor.

Teachers are able to register at this Web site where they can request supplies needed for their classroom. Once requested, the program helps the teacher to be matched with a donor who then sends the teacher either new or used supplies for their classroom.

Here, community members can sign up to provide a one-year subscription to Kind News for a classroom.
The SHOPA Kids In Need Foundation
Stores located across the country where teachers from qualifying schools can shop free of charge for school supplies for their students.

Title 1 schools can apply to this program, run in association with Gifts in Kind, that provides educational materials. Registration with Gifts in Kind International is required before requesting assistance.
The Teacher's Wish List
A Web site to "thank our teachers and support our schools," in which teachers can register to receive their "wish list" of supplies for school from donors in the community and business world.
TrueGift Donations
A small, non-profit organization where teachers can create a gift list of school supply items that are considered essential for the classroom. True Gift works to match teachers with donors so that their gift list can be fulfilled.
