Online Registration and Hotel Reservations

Online registration is NOW CLOSED! Registration will be available on-site. 

Please provide an email address when registering. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after completing your online registration for the conference and other TEACH-related activities.

Payment of Registration Fee

MasterCard, Visa and American Express cards are accepted when registering online. If paying by check or money order, send payment made out to: AFT TEACH 2011, P.O. Box 791212, Baltimore, MD 21279-1212. Make sure to include your confirmation number (Attendee Ref# located in the upper right corner of your confirmation) on your check. Payments must be received prior to the conference.

NOTE: Whether registering by mail or online, please do not fax registration forms to us.

Included in Your Conference Registration

  • Conference bag;
  • Admission to all plenary sessions;
  • Attendance at any workshop—space permitting (there is no pre-registration for workshops);
  • Welcome Reception, Monday, July 11; and
  • TEACH Closing Luncheon, Wednesday, July 13.
    Visitors who wish to attend the closing luncheon will need to purchase a ticket.

Cancellations or Substitutions

Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to Tina Bridgeforth by e-mail (TEACHquestions@aft.org). There will be a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations received after June 30, 2011. Refunds will be made after the conference. Substitutions are allowed at any time up to July 11, 2011, preferably in writing. There will be no refunds after that date.

Special Accommodations

The AFT will make every effort to ensure that accommodations at the Marriott are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If a TEACH 2011 participant anticipates a special need as a result of a disability, the participant should contact Kitty Owens in the AFT convention, meetings and travel department at 800/238-1133, ext. 4514 or e-mail kowens@aft.org no later than Friday, June 17.
