2004 CONFERENCE

The AFT’s Paraprofessionals and School-Related Personnel conference is back in Washington, D.C., this time around, set to run from April 22-25. One of the AFT’s largest gatherings, this year’s 27th annual conference will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park.

The national meeting will include general sessions with noted speakers addressing important PSRP issues, workshops on a range of professional topics, constituency group meetings for people who do the same kind of work, and social events. Local unions will receive an initial mailing about the conference in late December or early January, and the AFT’s Web site, www.aft.org/psrp, will post regular updates.
