Book now!
Hotel deadline is Feb. 21.

Join your union colleagues to explore the theme, “Solidarity in Action: How We Can Shape the Future of Higher Education.”

You’ll get the insider’s view of where higher education is going from featured speakers like online newspaper maven Scott Jaschik, editor of Inside Higher Ed, and Capitol Hill insider Gabriella Gomez, who staffs the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. Plus, you’ll hear this year’s Polishook Lecturer Donna Euben, a legal expert on academic freedom. Workshops will cover strategies for:

■  strengthening communications,

■  mobilizing for political action,

■  bargaining for healthcare,

■  protecting academic freedom (weigh in on AFT’s draft statement),

■  boosting perceptions of the union in the community, and

■  building a culture of organizing on our campuses.

COME EARLY: Pre-conference workshops on March 29 will provide hands-on help running your union.
