AFT’s QuEST Conference – July 12-15
Celebrating 35th Anniversary of AFT’s Major Educational Issues Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Thousands of teachers will become students this summer when they descend on Washington, D.C., to attend the American Federation of Teachers’ 35th anniversary QuEST conference.

Featured speakers and scores of workshops will reflect the conference’s theme, “Strengthening Public Schools: Our Union’s Work.”

The QuEST (Quality Educational Standards in Teaching) conference has become one of the most substantive forums for teachers to hear from national, state, city and union leaders and experts in various fields about front-burner educational issues and ways to strengthen public schools.

The conference will be held in Washington, D.C., July 12-15, 2007, at the Hilton Washington Hotel.

Details on speakers and workshop sessions are forthcoming. As always, we will be glad to connect you with teachers from a particular city or those who teach certain subjects or are involved in specific issues. If you need hotel information, please contact Janet Bass using the above contact information.
