SEATTLE—U.S. Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) will address the more than 3,000 delegates at the American Federation of Teachers convention on Friday morning, followed by a celebration of organizing victories led by AFT President Randi Weingarten. Afternoon highlights include debating and voting on various policy resolutions, as well as presentations on the AFT’s community work by a Special Olympian and a former professional football player.
