Appointment of Cecilia Munoz as Domestic Policy Council Director

WASHINGTON—The American Federation of Teachers congratulates President Obama’s latest appointee, Cecilia Munoz, who has been named director of the Domestic Policy Council. From her work with the National Council of La Raza to her most recent role as White House head of intergovernmental affairs, Munoz’s credentials as a tireless advocate for creating opportunities for all Americans make her a solid choice for this appointment.
