A new AFT report shows that the federal government has repeatedly delayed public reporting of the 2003 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) math and reading results for charter schools, which were included for the first time in the assessment. The AFT was able to obtain and examine the NAEP charter school data and found that charter schools mostly trail the achievement of regular public schools.
