Join Summer

We’re excited to make Summer, a new tool for managing your student loan debt, available to AFT members and Associate Members.

If you’re eligible for AFT membership at your worksite, contact your local union to become a member! But if you’re not eligible for AFT membership at your worksite, you can become an Associate Member here and be on your way to accessing Summer.

To sign up as an Associate Member, please answer a few quick questions:

If you DON'T have an AFT local that you're eligible to join, please return to the previous question and be sure to answer “NO” when asked if you have an AFT local in your worksite.
