In hundreds of locals and chapters in more than 20 states, the AFT represents faculty in every type of institution from four-year research institutions to community colleges in both the public and private sectors. Our locals are committed to rebuilding the full-time faculty corps and to promoting the value of having full-time, tenured faculty at the center of the academic enterprise.
