July 13-15, 2015
As educators, we inspire and enlighten, cajole and nurture, juggle and balance. But the work we do—with our students, in our schools and in our communities—is increasingly demanding.
The AFT TEACH (Together Educating America’s Children) conference, July 13-15 in Washington, D.C., will celebrate the work we do and provide inspiration for the work that lies ahead. You will leave the conference armed with practical tools and professional knowledge you can use every day in the classroom.
This conference will bring together educators, union leaders, administrators, activists, and civic and community leaders for high-quality workshops. But TEACH will also bring you overviews of innovative work, exciting demonstrations of the latest educational technology, thought-provoking keynote speakers and much more.
Session proposals are being accepted until Feb. 28. If you have an idea for a workshop or plenary session, let us know by completing this form. We will notify you no later than March 7 if your proposal is accepted.
If selected, presenters will receive a complimentary registration to the conference, but are responsible for all other expenses, travel and/or accommodations. AFT TEACH will not cover presenter expenses or travel and/or accommodation expenses.
As we add speakers and events, and have other news to share, we will be sending email updates.
