The AFT is pleased to endorse Delta Air Lines and United Airlines as official carriers for the AFT 2008 Biennial Convention in Chicago, Ill. Delta and United have provided the AFT with exclusive discounted fares that can be reserved by following the instructions below. Valid travel dates for the convention are July 7-17, 2008, and all of these discounted fares are valid for travel to and from Chicago, Ill.


DELTA AIR LINES will provide a 5 percent discount on applicable rountrip airfares and a 10 percent discount on applicable first-class fares. You may access this Delta discount only from the AFT Web site. Simply click the link to Delta below. By booking through this link, you pay no service fees and can check in online 24 hours prior to your departure. This discount is effective as of Jan. 1, 2008.


UNITED AIRLINES will provide 2 percent to 10 percent discounts on applicable round-trip airfares. If tickets are purchased more than 30 days prior to travel, 7 percent to 15 percent discounts may apply on certain airfares. These discounts may be obtained by calling the United Meetings Plus Reservations Center at 800/521-4041, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday (Eastern Time). You must refer to UNITED ID Code 576UE to receive these discounts. You can also book your tickets online at www.united.com and receive a 5 percent discount off the lowest applicable fares. Go to www.united.com, enter your origin and destination cities and travel dates. Click on more search options and enter the AFT/United code 576UE. United will display the available flights. There are no fees for booking online when you use the AFT/United code 576UE. The code is case sensitive, so please use capital letters. In addition, if you are already a United Mileage Plus member, you will receive 1,000 bonus miles, or you can enroll at united.com to start your own Mileage Plus account.
