VP Marcia RebackAFT Vice President
Reback is president of the Rhode Island Federation of Teachers and Health Professionals.  She taught for 29 years in Providence public schools at the elementary level and was president of the Providence Teachers Union for 19 years.  Her teaching fields were reading and science, and she also served as a social studies curriculum specialist for the 4th-6th grades.  Her professional and community service includes developing state policies on teacher preparation and recruitment, certification and professional development as an executive board/executive committee member of the Rhode Island AFL-CIO.

Reback serves as an executive committee and board member of the Rhode Island

AFL-CIO; member, board of directors of the United Way of Rhode Island; member, Rhode Island Consortium for Education; member, AFT Teachers program and policy council; board member of the Holmes Partnership; and Assistant Treasurer for the R. I. Democratic Party.
