Stacey Caruso-Sharpe is in her 25th year as a middle- level math teacher in the Amsterdam school district and has been an activist in the Amsterdam teachers union for 24 of those years.  She served as president of the Fulton-Montgomery teachers cluster for 16 years and has served on numerous NYSUT task forces and committees.  She is a NYSUT liaison to AMTNYS, a Texas Instruments T^3 instructor, and a member of NYSAMS and NCTM.  She is currently serving her fifth year as a member of the NYSUT board of directors.
